Clients from the mainland came to us with hand drawn plans for a modern retreat on Orcas Island. The plan consists of modern, clean lines, floor to ceiling windows, a hot tub built into a wrap around deck, and a roof deck to take advantage of the spectacular views. The stairwell to the roof deck acts as a natural chimney for ventilation, and the roof provides and area of direct southern exposure for solar panels.
Construction will be begin at the end of the summer.
