Contractor Ravenhill Construction

Phase 1 of the site includes a separate first floor office with a second floor residence, which can act as a guest house for the couple’s large out of town family or rented as an apartment.

Advanced framing was employed to reduce wood use by 33%. Ductless in-floor hydronic heat allows for healthy indoor air. The exterior rain screen assembly includes Corten Steel and clear cedar siding. The driveway will be partially built with Grasscrete permeable pavers.

Phase I’s guest quarters include a sleeping and play loft for the grand kids, operable clerestory windows for air circulation, a Japanese soaking tub for relaxation, and floor to ceiling windows to blur the boundaries of inside and out.
